Miranda The Model Singer

Model singer Miranda Kerr is more than just a pretty face. The Aussie supermodel apparently has a knack for singing.

Boyfriend Jay Lyon told Insider the pair had recorded a song together but wouldn't say what it was called.

"We have written a song together and we have recorded something together, but there are no plans for a release," said Lyon, 23, of New York-based Australian band Tamarama.

"It is kind of our little thing. She is a good little singer. She's got a sweet little voice."

Lyon, whose real name is Brent Tuhtan, was also a model. "Really, the focus is on music at the moment," he said.

Tamarama has made a strong impression in the US since forming four years back.The band recently signed with Brooklyn Beats, a division of Warner Music, and is working on a debut album, as well as a national tour of the US, playing mainly college shows. It has also got support gigs booked for Ryan Cabrera and Amy Winehouse's upcoming New York shows.

And fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger had the boys play at one of his recent parties, before guests including actors Liv Tyler and Michelle Rodriguez.

"We are getting taken care of now by the big boys, which is going to be good," said Lyon.

Gisele To Star In Music Video

Gisele Bundchen is set to star in the u2's next music video after becoming friends with frontman Bono. The pair met when Gisele appeared in ads for Bono's RED charity campaign for no fee.

Gisele is one of the highest paid supermodels in the fashion industry and is notoriously picky about the jobs she does. However she is no stranger to the film set after appearing in the 2004 film Taxi and she's just signed up to star in the film version on Dan Brown's bestselling Angels and Demons.

Gisele caused outrage when she publicly criticised the Roman Catholic Church for its "outdated" view on contraception last month. The Brazilian supermodel - who previously dated Leonardo DiCaprio - believes the church should change its views because "no one is a virgin" anymore and contraception is necessary to stop the spread of sexually transmitted diseases.

Alessandra To Shoot First UK Commercial

Alessandra Ambrosio will take a break from her LA partying next week and travel to London for 4 days to shoot her first ever British TV spot for popular high street store Next.

The commercial has a working title of 'Alé's Party' and will feature Paul Sculfor, rumoured to be dating Jennifer Aniston, as the male lead. The commercial will air on Septemeber 14th.

Alessandra will return to the UK at a later date to shoot a Christmas TV Spot for the brand.

Gisele And Tom....Trouble Already?

All is not well with Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady. While the two have put up a happy front for the cameras-and his family is even said to be flying out to Italy to spend time at the villa in Rome she recently acquired - spies say Bundchen is upset that Brady's Ex, Bridget Moynahan, is due to give birth to Brady's son on Friday by caesarian - on Bundchen's Birthday.

Suspiscion is that Moynahan planned the birth to purposefully be on Gisele's birthday and also that she announced the pregnancy without Tom knowing while he was away in Paris with Gisele to make him look bad!

The tension has grown so intense that the couple fought openly in front of hotel guests in Napa while staying at the five star Auberge du Soliel.

Alessandra Gets....Involved With New Man

Well it certainly seems that brazilian supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio has ditched her previous boyfriend Steven Allain for a new mystery guy....one who she doesn't mind making out with behind cars! The couple have been photographed together in California on another occasion, one where you can actually see their faces a bit more clearly....

Stam Given The Boot?

YET another of DJ AM's relationships has ended, though this time it was he who supposedly showed his modelicious girlfriend of four months, Jessica Stam, the door.

Insiders say that unlike AM's last girlfriend, Mandy Moore, who is known for her low-key mindset, "Jessica was extremely high-maintenance." The tipster told us, "He didn't see her because she was always traveling, and when they were together, they would just argue."

The couple had been photograhed looking really quite happy in the last few months but obviously it wasn't to be.....but with looks like that and a place on the rich list we doubt she'll stay single for very long!

Miranda Hits Modelling Big Time

SHE'S known for being a grounded girl from Gunnedah, but this fails to acknowledge the jet-set lifestyle of Australia's latest supermodel, Miranda Kerr.

Proving that the life of an in-demand model is a high-flying affair, the 24-year-old spent a few days in Sydney last week before jetting off to Los Angeles, the Caribbean and Spain. Speaking exclusively to The Sunday Telegraph, Kerr admitted to being tired and keen for some sleep ahead of her busy upcoming schedule.

"From here, I go to LA for five days and then Barbuda for three days, then Spain for four days work and then back to New York,'' Kerr said. "During the next two months I'll have one day off.'' Despite the fatigue, the willowy model said she enjoyed the trappings of her international lifestyle which has been largely built on recent appearances for international lingerie label Victoria's Secret.

"I'm very lucky, it's a great opportunity and I'm very grateful for it,'' Kerr said of her career, which allows her to rub uncovered shoulders with uber-model Gisele Bundchen and Hollywood's A -List.

"I never thought of modelling as a serious career, just as a bit of fun. But then I thought if I'm smart about this then I can set myself up for life It's a great way to travel, meet new people and make a lot of money in a short time.''

Kerr said recent photographs of her and Orlando Bloom together formed nothing more than part of the heightened media scrutiny attached to her career.

"I laugh that off. He's a nice guy and we're friends. We actually ran into each other by coincidence and then they took a photo, turning a molehill into a mountain. I told my boyfriend (Australian model and musician Brent Tuhtan) that I'd been out with Orlando and then the next thing I'm in the paper as his girlfriend. It just makes me laugh.''

She recently bought an apartment in New York after moving there three years ago and said she now felt at home in the city that never sleeps. "It's home now. I'm originally from a little country so it was quite overwhelming to begin with. It's definitely my home now, I've got a beautiful apartment there and a little doggy, Frankie, who goes everywhere with me.''

In Sydney to shoot the latest campaign for local label Portmans, Kerr will next be seen as the face of a new Clinique fragrance. While coy about her plans post-modelling, Kerr hinted that there were several business plans that would keep her in the fashion industry. "I have a lot of things in the pipeline, you know, a few business ideas. Stay tuned, you'll soon see."

Gisele To Launch 'The One'

Gisele Bündchen is looking to make a splash at Saks when she unveils The One, the newest addition to the Dolce & Gabbana fragrance portfolio, with a personal appearance at the retailer’s Fifth Avenue flagship on July 16.

The leggy supermodel and fragrance face will also reveal her ad campaign, shot by Jean-Baptiste Mondino, and will be on hand for an autograph-signing session from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the main floor.

Developed in conjunction with Procter & Gamble Prestige Products, The One is a warm Oriental floral mix of bergamot, lychee, peach, madonna lily, jasmine, and plum.

The fragrance will debut exclusively at Saks in New York City before launching in Saks stores nationwide, as well as at Dolce & Gabbana boutiques, Neiman Marcus, and other department and specialty stores.

Alessandra Update

It seems Alessandra is just getting more and more popular....she's scheduled to shoot two new VS commercials in the week of July 16th, shoot a 'Holiday 2007' shot with the rest of the VS Angels, do yet another Very Sexy campaign by herself and then travel out to the caribbean to begin shooting for VS Swim 2008. It's a busy month for this girl!

Brazilian supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio was spotted leaving Hollywood hotspot club Hyde late on Tuesday night with friends, including close friend and fellow model Tatiana Fontes. The leggy brazilian was also spotted in her bikini chilling at the beach and enjoying the 4th of July holiday in Malibu the next day.

Galliano Does It Again

The house of Dior staged their prestigious haute couture show yesterday, complete with plenty of fashion glitterati that you can only expect at Dior.

Also, it marked the welcome return of some of the catwalking greats and most highly esteemed models in the world of fashion; Gisele Bundchen, Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, Helena Christensen, Amber Valetta and Karen Mulder.

Also in the line up were many of the current generation of hit models, including Doutzen Kroes, Caroline Trentini, Jessica Stam, Flavia De Oliviera, Coco Rocha and Natasha Poly. A perfect mix of old and new - and definetley a show to remember.
