A New Role For Gisele

Although Gisele Bundchen left her famous position at Victoria's Secret earlier this year she has apparently landed herself a very different role, this time as....a fairy!

Gisele has done many things in her time; including acting in the movie Taxi, taking part in a commercial for Apple Mac and shooting an ad for the american express red card....and according to brazilian gossip blog Glamurama Gisele has now begun working for Disney, following in the footsteps of David Beckham, Beyoncé and Scarlett Johansson.

It is reported that Gisele plays the role of Wendy in the studios latest campaign, featuring Wendy and Peter Pan plus the history of Never Never Land. Peter is played by dancer Mikhail Baryshnikov and the campaign is shot by Annie Leibowitz.

Angels To Join The Walk Of Fame

On Novemeber the 14th the Victoria's Secret Angels will recieve their own satr on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame where the most famous people in the world are accredited. It will be staged as part of the promotion for the 2007 VS Fashion Show and there will be a press conference at the time.

And another little note on the fashion show....not only will the Spice Girls be performing but Kanye West too! So far it's looking to one of the best, and certainly the most high profile, show yet!

Traffic Stopper!

Victoria's Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio stopped traffic in Miami on Friday - literally. The leggy Brazilian was crossing Collins Avenue en route to Atrium boutique against the light when a fleet of cars filled with men slowed to stop, ultimately clearing a path for Ambrosio. Says one witness, ''I've never seen anything like it.'' Once inside the store, she bought two hats, an Emamo bikini and a pair of Rock & Republic shorts.

Brazilian supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio was at Skybar's Redroom, Miami, on Thursday (11 October) night. According to spies, ''She danced up a storm and took pictures with everyone.'' The stunner was sporting a white tank top and shorts with her hair thrown up in a ponytail. Service was understandably spotty that night. ''The staff were gaga over her,'' says our spy. ''I heard one guy bragging to a friend that she actually spoke to him.''

VSFS 2007 Update

Well, Victoria's Secret have just released the official image of the 2007 Fantasy Bra to be worn in the VS Fashion Show that will be taped in mid November this year.

Every year one of the angels (currently Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima, Karolina Kurkova, Selita Ebanks, Izabel Goulart and Miranda Kerr) are chosen to wear the bra - in 2005 Gisele Bundchen opened the show wearing it and 2006 was Karolina's year. But this year, and it has come as a shock to many, Selita Ebanks has been chosen to wear the bra - and so far, I've not found one person who is happy about it.

To be honest, I don't blame them - Selita is one of the brand's newest additions (except for Miranda Kerr who was added to the angels lineup only a few months ago) and undoubtedly the least liked by the fashion following pack. I mean don't get me wrong, she's got a good body and is prettier than most but there are much more experienced girls at VS who a large majority of people feel deserve it more.

Take Alessandra for example....she's in her sixth year at VS, has been featuring heavily in the catalogues lately and has never worn the bra to date; another strong candidate was Adriana Lima, gorgeous brazilian and one of the longest serving angels along with Alessandra. Either of them would have made wonderful ambassadors for this year's bra, but no! VS have really got it wrong this time!

No need to worry too much about buying quick-selling Spice Girls comeback tour tickets -- Usmagazine.com has learned exclusively that the British bombshells will be performing at this year's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show!

The fashion show, which marks the American TV debut of the Spice Girls’ comeback tour, will be held at Hollywood's Kodak Theatre, and will be taped on November 15. Last year's musical guest was superstar Justin Timberlake. A source tells Us that the Spice Girls "are rehearsing for it already. It's going be their big comeback appearance."

Representatives for Victoria's Secret and CBS did not return calls for comment.

Rumours Resurfaced....

You should know before you read this it's probably a load of rubbish....but it's going round in the press so I thought I'd report it anyway.

Orlando Bloom has reportedly been spending this past weekend romancing Australian model Miranda Kerr - which has fueled speculation that the the pair are dating.

In April this year, Orlando was seen house-hunting (they weren't actually together) and took Miranda on a double-date at exclusive Asian restaurant Megu, in New York, over the weekend.

According to the Sunday Telegraph newspaper (Australia) the pair were apparently “smitten” with each other. An onlooker said: “They looked really happy together, and spent most of the evening cuddling and touching each other. They definitely looked like a couple.”

The pair have previously denied they were a couple, with Miranda saying: “Orlando is a nice guy but we’re just friends. We actually ran into each other by coincidence and then someone took a photo, turning a molehill into a mountain.”

Orlando has also recently been linked to former ‘Friends’ actress Jennifer Aniston, but denied they were anything more than “just good friends”.

Update: Kerr's Sydney-based agent Carly Tuhtan confirmed the genetically-blessed pair had dinner together, but played down suggestions of a romance - no surprise given Tuhtan's brother Brent has been dating Kerr for several years.

"Yes they had dinner, and yes they are good friends," Tuhtan told Confidential yesterday. "They're rarely in New York at the same time together so they wanted to catch up."

But when asked if the pair had been canoodling, Tuhtan's reply was somewhat ambiguous. "From Miranda's perspective, no they weren't. But really, what guy in his right mind wouldn't be into her?" she said.

Irina and Pete Forever?!

Though word of Irina Lazareanu's engagement to rocker Pete Doherty has spread like wildfire, not everyone's buying it. But we've gotten word that the union is for real: The former Babyshambles songwriter was overheard telling friends earlier this week that she and her beau are dead serious.

When a friend questioned her story (it was Pete who introduced her to Kate Moss, and Moss who then took Lazareanu to her agency and thus launched the quirky catwalker's now super career, remember), she dug in her purse, whipped out a hefty rock, and placed it on her left fourth finger. She even confided she had picked a date—three months from now, in December - and a location, Ireland, where Petey has roots.

But by last night's Greenhouse party at Le Baron, she'd had enough wedding talk. The catwalker was telling friends that her parents are now getting harassed by the press and paparazzi. While word is still out on what his future in-laws in Canada make of Doherty, it seems that the Lazareanus are not happy with cameramen on their front lawn.

Selita No Longer Engaged

Nick Cannon and his Victoria’s Secret fiance, Selita Ebanks, have called off their engagement according to Ebanks’ rep who confirmed with People magazine.

“Selita and Nick are taking a break to focus on their careers but still very much love each other and remain the best of friends,” says her rep, Melissa Raubvogel.

Cannon’s rep declined to comment. The break comes just five short months after the couple got engaged when Nick literally lit up Times Sqaure to propose to Ebanks with the help of a jumbotron.

Angel Airways Coming Our Way

Virgin America, the next generation airline today announced that it will partner with Victoria's Secret as the official "Airline of the Angels" for the 2007 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. On Nov. 12, one of Virgin America's brand new planes will be named in honor of Victoria's Secret and will fly 27 Victoria's Secret supermodels from New York to Los Angeles for the lingerie giant's annual fashion show.

This is a partnership made in heaven: some of the most beautiful women in the world flying one of the sexiest planes in the skies," said Charles Ogilvie, Director of Inflight Entertainment and Partnerships at Virgin America. "We can't wait for the supermodels to practice for their runway show in the aisles under our mood-lighting, chat with each other via our instant message system, grab a drink from the mini-bar or watch one of our 25 movies on demand inflight."

After touching down in Los Angeles on Nov. 12, the Victoria's Secret Angels will name their own Virgin America plane and officially kick off this year's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show with a press conference on the tarmac at Los Angeles International Airport. The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show will tape at the Kodak Theater on Nov. 15 and will be broadcast Tuesday, Dec. 4 (10:00 PM ET/PT), on the CBS television network.

As the official "Airline of the Angels," Virgin America and Victoria's Secret will also host the first ever in-flight supermodel PJ party on a Virgin America flight from New York to Los Angeles this November. Lucky guests will get to fly in style with the Victoria's Secret supermodels and check out the latest VS PJ fashions at 35,000 feet. The in-flight PJ party will be one of three exclusive PJ parties hosted by Victoria's Secret this holiday season.

Life Looks Rosie For Tyrone....

Following an article in August containing details of the couples rumoured romance and eventful holiday to Ibiza, it appears British catwalk fixture Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Tyrone Wood, son of Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood, are actually an item! The most recent photo is shown here on September 20th, at the Stella McCartney for adidas presentation as part of London Fashion Week.

They attended Ronnie's 'Woodfest' costume party on August 24th at the family house, both dressed as gypsies!....I hope these guys stay together for a while - they're SO cute!
